DCX Systems to establish manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu

DCX Systems Limited (DCX) has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu (GoTN), through its nodal agency “Guidance,” to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This facility will be for a Joint Venture Company (JVC) at Hosur, Tamil Nadu, one of India's Defence Industrial Corridors. The MOU was signed on September 11, 2025, during the ‘T N Rising Investment Conclave' in the presence of Tamil Nadu chief minister, Mr. Thiru M K Stalin.

This initiative follows a prior communication dated April 21, 2025, regarding a Joint Venture Agreement with ELTA Systems Ltd, Israel, and its group companies. The JVC will focus on Airborne Maritime Radar System, Fire Control Radar System, and other Radar Systems for Airborne and Land applications under "Make in India" projects. This aligns with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Policy 2021 and the Tamil Nadu Aerospace and Defence Industrial Policy 2022.

Under the MOU, "Guidance" will provide necessary infrastructural support and regulatory facilitation to the JVC, subject to applicable laws. This support is expected to streamline the process of obtaining essential permissions, registrations, approvals, allotments, clearances, and incentives from the Tamil Nadu Government.
