Aadhar Housing Finance announces new non-executive chairperson

Aadhar Housing Finance Limited has reported a change in its board of directors, effective September 12, 2025. O.P. Bhatt will conclude his second term as independent director and non-executive chairperson, ceasing to hold the positions at the close of business hours on the aforementioned date.

Following Bhatt's departure, Raj Vikash Verma has been appointed as the new independent director and non-executive chairperson of the company, effective September 13, 2025. Verma brings extensive experience to the role, having held various leadership positions over 40 years in the banking, finance, housing, mortgage, and real estate sectors, including roles with regulatory bodies. His career includes serving as chairman and MD of National Housing Bank, founding MD & CEO of CERSAI, and member/chairman at the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).

The company expressed its appreciation for Bhatt's contributions and leadership during his tenure. This transition aligns with Regulation 30 and 51 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
