SJVN appoints Shubh Karan Singh as part-time director

SJVN Limited has announced the appointment of Shubh Karan Singh as a part-time official director, representing the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GoHP) on its board of directors, effective September 11, 2025. This appointment was made by the Ministry of Power via an order dated September 11, 2025.

Shubh Karan Singh, a 2015 batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer, currently serves as special secretary (MPP & Power) and non-conventional energy sources in the Government of Himachal Pradesh. His extensive career spans over 26 years in various administrative positions within the Himachal Pradesh government, including a previous role as chief executive officer of HIMURJA.

The company confirmed that Singh is not related to any other director on the board and is not debarred from holding a directorship by any SEBI order or other authority. The appointment is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
