Shipping Corporation of India appoints joint statutory auditors for FY25-26

The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has appointed M/s. PSD & Associates and M/s. D. R. Mohnot & Co., both based in Mumbai, as its joint statutory auditors for the financial year 2025-26. This appointment, effective from September 10, 2025, for a one-year term, follows communication from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

M/s. PSD & Associates, established in 1988, operates with 22 qualified CAs and over 35 article assistants across multiple branches, including Jaipur, Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad. The firm, which ranked 36 in the CAG ranking for 2022-23, brings extensive experience in statutory audits of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), including previous engagements with SCI.

M/s. D. R. Mohnot & Co., founded in 1980, boasts 12 partners and 8 paid CA employees, with offices in Jaipur, Mumbai, and Vadodara. The firm has a strong track record in statutory and concurrent audits for banks and other entities. Both firms offer a broad range of services, including tax practice, accounting, auditing, and corporate affairs, ensuring comprehensive auditing capabilities for SCI.
