Hindustan Copper appoints PA & Associates as statutory auditors for FY26

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) announced the appointment of M/s PA & Associates, chartered accountants, as its statutory auditors for the financial year 2025-26. The appointment was made by the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (C&AG) and communicated via a letter dated September 11, 2025. M/s PA & Associates will also serve as auditors for consolidated financial statements.

M/s PA & Associates, established on October 15, 1980, operates with its head office in Bhubaneswar and branch offices in Sambalpur, Rourkela, and Cuttack. The firm holds an ICAI registration no. of 313085E and a CAG empanelment no. of CAV/F/LP/SP0027, comprising 14 partners. The appointment is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the C&AG.

Additionally, the director general of audit (mines) in Kolkata has been entrusted with the supplementary/test audit of Hindustan Copper under sections 143 (6) & (7) of the Companies Act, 2013. The remuneration and allowances for the auditors will adhere to Section 142 of the Companies Act, 2013, and existing guidelines from the Department of Company Affairs.
