BHEL appoints auditors for fiscal year 2025-26

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has formally announced the appointment of its auditors for the financial year 2025-26, as per a communication from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG). The CAG, in exercise of powers conferred by section 139 of the Companies Act 2013, has appointed M/s K Venkatachalam Aiyer & Co, New Delhi, and M/s K S Dua & Co, Hardwar, as the joint statutory auditors. Both firms are newly appointed for FY2025-26.

In addition to the joint statutory auditors, BHEL has also appointed several branch auditors. These include M/s Sanjay Srivastava & Co, Bhopal; M/s Ganesan and Company, Chennai; M/s Y C R J & Associates, Bengaluru; M/s Sarath & Associates, Hyderabad; and M/s K Gopal Rao & Co, Chennai. The remuneration and other allowances for these auditors will be regulated according to the provisions of section 142 of the Companies Act 2013 and relevant government guidelines.

The appointment process includes a review of audit fees and remuneration for other services, as well as TA/DA paid for 2024-25, which will be submitted once the accounts for 2024-25 are finalized.
