Tata Elxsi, Bayer open global medical device technology center

On September 10, 2025, Tata Elxsi, a global leader in design and technology services, officially opened the "Bayer Development Centre in Radiology" in Pune, India. This new center is a strategic co-development initiative with Bayer, a prominent company in radiology, focusing on advanced radiology devices and technology to enhance early and accurate diagnosis and treatment of critical illnesses.

The center will concentrate on engineering complex radiology devices, with an initial emphasis on molecular imaging. Its integrated approach aims to expedite time-to-market, improve cost efficiency, and deliver new technology quickly and cost-effectively, while adhering to the highest regulatory compliance standards.

This collaboration leverages Tata Elxsi's healthcare engineering expertise and the robust Indian ecosystem, providing access to advanced labs, regulatory partnerships, and specialized technology talent. This foundation is expected to foster innovation and bolster Bayer’s capability to deliver radiology solutions across multiple regions, including the US and EU.
