Shipping Corporation of India appoints joint statutory auditors for FY2025-26

The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has appointed P S D & ASSOCIATES and D R MOHNOT & CO as joint statutory auditors for the financial year 2025-2026. This appointment, made by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) under section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013, was communicated to stock exchanges on September 10, 2025.

Mumbai-based P S D & ASSOCIATES and D R MOHNOT & CO will serve as joint statutory auditors, including for consolidated financial statements. The remuneration and other allowances for these auditors will be regulated as per Section 142 of the Companies Act, 2013, and relevant guidelines issued by the Department of Company Affairs.

The company will provide details on any revisions to audit fees, including for consolidation, and a breakdown of remuneration for other services, along with TA/DA paid for 2024-2025, once the accounts for the previous year are finalized. This will enable the C&AG office to review the appointment, which is subject to additional conditions stipulated by the C&AG.
