Ramco Cements resolves CENVAT credit dispute, reduces litigation exposure

Ramco Cements Limited announced on September 10, 2025, the successful resolution of key litigation regarding the disallowance of CENVAT Credit on Outward Freight. The company's appeal before CESTAT was allowed via orders dated September 10, 2025, effectively resolving the issue to the extent of Rs.17.68 lakhs.

This resolution has positively impacted the company's overall litigation status. Disputes of a similar nature, which were previously disclosed, have seen their total value reduced.

The aggregate amount of these pending disputes with different statutory authorities has decreased from Rs.6.89 crores to Rs.6.71 crores as a result of the recent legal outcome.
