Rail Vikas Nigam wins West Central Railway traction substation project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project with West Central Railway. The contract involves the design, modification, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 220/132kV/2X25 kV Scott connected Traction Sub Station and switching posts with AT, including SCADA work between the BINA to RTA section of Bhopal Division, to meet a 3000MT loading target.

The total cost of the work is Rs 169,48,95,146/-, inclusive of applicable taxes. This domestic project is expected to be completed within 540 days. The announcement on September 10, 2025, confirmed that this project falls within RVNL's normal course of business.
