MIC Electronics partners to explore Taiwan semiconductor wafer production

MIC Electronics Limited announced on September 10, 2025, it has entered into an MOU with Top2 PTE Limited, a Singapore-based entity. The agreement aims to identify and finalize a semiconductor partner in Taiwan to initiate semiconductor wafer production.

The partnership targets a monthly capacity of 25,000 to 30,000 wafers, subject to feasibility, negotiations, and regulatory compliance. Top2 PTE Limited will assist MIC Electronics in identifying suitable partners for this initiative.

The company clarified that this transaction does not involve any shareholding in Top2 PTE Limited, nor does it include significant terms like special rights for directors or share subscriptions. Furthermore, the parties involved are not related to MIC Electronics' promoters or promoter group, and the transaction is not classified as a related party transaction.
