Jaykay subsidiary inks deal for 3D-printed medical implant technology

Jaykay Enterprises Limited announced on September 10, 2025, that its wholly-owned subsidiary, JK Digital & Advance Systems Private Limited, has executed a Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement with the Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh. Signed on September 9, 2025, this agreement facilitates the indigenous manufacturing of advanced 3D-printed lattice orthopedic implants using additive manufacturing technology.

The ToT Agreement covers seven state-of-the-art orthopedic implant technologies, primarily for spinal and hip surgeries, including TLIF, PLIF, Buttress & Shim Augments, Shell & Wedge Augments, Lattice Cones, Cage Constructs, and Lattice Acetabular Cups. JK Digital gains the right to utilize this know-how for a period of seven years, aiming to reduce reliance on imports and support India's "Make in India" initiative in healthcare.
