Jagran Prakashan legal case adjourned to late September

Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL) announced an adjournment in the legal matter titled "Mahendra Mohan Gupta & Ors. v. Devendra Mohan Gupta & Ors., C.P. No. 64 of 2023." The case, along with accompanying applications, was listed before the national company law tribunal (NCLT) Allahabad on September 8, 2025. The senior counsel for respondent no. 12 requested an adjournment to prepare for final arguments, which was granted.

During the hearing, JPL's senior counsel informed the NCLT that an affidavit had been filed, detailing recent developments and reiterating requests for reliefs sought in C.A. No. 47 of 2023. The company also noted that this affidavit had not yet come on record and requested a date for its hearing. The NCLT indicated an inclination to hear final submissions, and after JPL's counsel requested time for other respondents to file replies to the affidavit, the tribunal stated this would be considered once the affidavit is officially on record.

The matter has been adjourned for further hearing to September 24, 2025, at 2:30 PM. This disclosure was made under regulation 30 of the SEBI (listing obligations and disclosure requirements) regulations, 2015, following a mandatory disclosure on July 17, 2025.
