Brightcom Group partners with CQT Weapon Systems for defense solutions

Brightcom Group Limited announced a strategic partnership with Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) Weapon Systems, LLC, USA. This collaboration, formalized through an MoU, will focus on developing advanced defense solutions by integrating Brightcom’s AI-driven platforms with CQT’s precision-engineered hardware. This move expands Brightcom Defence, a division launched in August 2025, into aerospace intelligence and autonomous defense technologies.

The partnership aims to combine Brightcom’s AI, machine learning, and advanced data systems with CQT’s tactical platforms, including rifles, specialized systems, and precision components. This integration will lead to software-enabled defense systems for swarm coordination, intelligent threat response, and autonomous combat platforms. Suresh Reddy, chairman of Brightcom Group, highlighted that CQT’s expertise provides the foundation to translate Brightcom’s software innovations into deployable defense solutions.

The scope of collaboration includes joint business development across India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and other allied defense markets. It also covers product sourcing, adaptation, technology transfer, and localized manufacturing, aligning with 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' policies. Al Dustan II, chief executive of CQT Weapon Systems, noted that Brightcom’s AI strength will enable their hardware to evolve into intelligent, adaptive systems, enhancing future warfare capabilities.
