Astral Limited to acquire full ownership of Astral Coatings

Astral Limited announced on September 10, 2025, the acquisition of the remaining 20% equity shares of its subsidiary, Astral Coatings Private Limited, for INR 75 Crores. This transaction increases Astral Limited's total equity stake in Astral Coatings from 80% to 100%, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Astral Coatings, a key player in the manufacturing, selling, and distribution of paints, varnishes, and coatings, reported a turnover of INR 1960.90 million for fiscal year 2025. The acquisition is expected to enhance operational efficiency, foster synergy, and streamline the decision-making process within the company.

The transaction is anticipated to be completed on or before October 31, 2025. Astral Coatings operates solely in India, with its business spanning products related to home decor and industrial paints.
