Varun Somani and PACs boost stake in Kopran Limited

Varun Somani and the promoter group of Kopran Limited have disclosed an acquisition under Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The acquisition involved 270,000 shares, boosting their total voting rights from 26.36% to 26.92% in Kopran Limited. The transaction was conducted off-market.

Before the acquisition, the promoter group collectively held 12,726,385 shares, increasing to 12,996,385 shares afterward. Varun Somani's individual holding rose from 1,454,950 shares (3.01%) to 1,724,950 shares (3.57%). The total diluted share/voting capital of Kopran Limited remains INR 48.28 Cr after the acquisition.

The promoter group includes Varun Somani, Vandana Somani, Surendra Somani, Oriental Enterprises Partnership Firm, Panorama Finvest Private Ltd., Parijat Shipping and Finale Limited, and Sarvamangal Mercantile Company Limited. This disclosure was submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on September 9, 2025.
