United Breweries expands London Pilsner strong beer to Odisha

United Breweries Limited (UBL) announced the launch of London Pilsner Strong Beer in Odisha, effective September 9, 2025. This expansion makes the strong beer, crafted with European hops and aged at sub-zero temperatures, accessible to consumers in Odisha for INR 160 per 650ml bottle. Odisha is the fourth market for London Pilsner, following Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

The company stated this launch aims to celebrate Odisha's growing appreciation for fine brews and recognizes the state as a key market. UBL’s chief marketing officer, Vikram Bahl, emphasized that London Pilsner, positioned as a premium yet accessible beer, is expected to drive category growth, focusing solely on the domestic market.

Bengaluru-headquartered UBL, part of the HEINEKEN Company, is India's largest beer manufacturer, with brands including Kingfisher Strong, Heineken Original, and Amstel Grande.
