Tata Power opens india’s largest EV mega charger hub in mumbai

Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility have jointly unveiled India's largest TATA.ev MegaCharger Hub. Located near Terminal 2 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, the co-branded hub features eight fast DC chargers at up to 120 kW, offering 16 charging bays for up to 16 electric vehicles (EVs) simultaneously. Operating 24/7 and powered entirely by green energy, it serves private car owners, ride-hailing fleets, and logistics operators.

This new MegaCharger hub adds to Tata Power's existing network of over 1,000 green charging points across Mumbai. The facility is part of the growing TATA.ev MegaCharger network, offering exclusive benefits like discounts of up to 25% and priority access for TATA.ev customers. Charging services are accessible via the Tata Power EZ Charge App and will soon be available on the iRA.ev Connected Car app.

The launch highlights Tata Power's commitment to sustainable mobility, expanding its EV charging network which currently includes over 5,500 public and captive EV charging points, more than 1.4 lakh home chargers, and 1,200+ bus charging points across 630+ cities. By 2030, Tata Power aims to scale to 7.5 lakh home chargers and 10,000 public charging points.
