Bikaji Foods summoned in Rajasthan Premier League sponsorship probe

Bikaji Foods International Limited confirmed today, September 9, 2025, that it has received a summon from the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in connection with an ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. The investigation pertains to matters linked to the Rajasthan Premier League, organized by the Rajasthan Cricket Association. The summon directs the company's managing director to appear in person and present records related to its transaction with the Rajasthan Cricket Association.

The company clarified that its involvement in the Rajasthan Premier League was solely as a sponsor, an activity undertaken in the ordinary course of business for promotion and brand development. Bikaji Foods stated that all sponsorship payments were duly accounted for, supported by proper documentation, and processed through valid banking channels. They assert that complete records of the sponsorship transaction are available for inspection and will be furnished to the ED.
