Bartronics India partners with Net Zero Initiative for sustainable agriculture

On September 8, 2025, Bartronics India Limited (BIL) disclosed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Net Zero Initiative Private Limited (“RenewCred”). This partnership will focus on leveraging BIL’s farmer network and Net Zero Initiative’s technology platform to explore large-scale sustainable agriculture and carbon credit generation.

The collaboration's objectives include developing transparent carbon credit standards and registries, deploying advanced technologies like IoT, machine learning, drone surveys, and satellite monitoring for real-time farm assessments. It also aims to promote regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, climate-smart inputs, and farmer training. The goal is to generate high-quality carbon credits and channel proceeds to farmers for supplemental income. The MoU is non-binding and exploratory.
