Sequent Scientific announces director resignation, new Carlyle representative appointed

Sequent Scientific Limited’s board of directors, at a meeting held on September 5, 2025, noted the resignation of Neeraj Bharadwaj as a non-executive, non-independent director. Bharadwaj, representing CA Harbor Investments ("Carlyle"), resigned due to other professional commitments, effective September 5, 2025. He will also step down from the audit, nomination and remuneration, and risk management committees.

Concurrently, the board approved the appointment of Anuj Poddar as an additional director, effective September 5, 2025. Poddar will serve as a non-executive, non-independent director, representing Carlyle. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval and he will be liable to retire by rotation.

Poddar is currently a managing director and Asia co-head of global portfolio solutions at Carlyle, which manages $465 bn in assets. His previous roles include managing director and chief executive officer of Bajaj Electricals, and a member of the leadership team at Viacom18 Media. The board meeting began at 6:30 p.m. and concluded at 06:50 p.m.
