United Breweries appoints Neha Munjral as new legal director

United Breweries Limited (UBL) announced on September 5, 2025, a change in its senior management regarding the director of legal position. Shelly Kohli will resign from her role as director – legal, effective October 1, 2025, to assume the position of regional legal director for APAC with Heineken, effective January 1, 2026.

Following Ms. Kohli's departure, Neha Munjral will be appointed as the new director – legal, also effective October 1, 2025. Ms. Munjral brings over 17 years of experience from multinational corporations and a top-tier law firm practice in India, previously serving as general counsel and head of CSR for GE Healthcare's medical device business in India & South Asia.

The change in leadership follows the recommendation of UBL’s nomination and remuneration committee and was approved by the board of directors. The company expressed gratitude to Ms. Kohli for her contributions and commitment to a smooth transition.
