Shriram Properties secures land for new residential project in North Bengaluru

Shriram Properties Limited (SPL) has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for approximately 6.5 acres of prime land in North Bengaluru. This move is part of the company's asset-light growth strategy and aims to develop a premium residential apartment project. The project is projected to have a saleable area of about 0.6 million square feet and an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) potential of approximately ₹500 crores.

The planned development is strategically located adjacent to the upcoming large state park in Yelahanka, a promising residential hub in North Bengaluru. It will overlook the proposed Madapanahalli Biodiversity Park, which spans 154 acres and includes various ecological features. The project is slated for launch during the next fiscal year.

According to akshay murali, vice president – business development at Shriram Properties, this development marks a significant milestone in blending luxury living with ecological harmony. SPL continues to reinforce its robust project pipeline, with 39 projects and an aggregate development potential of 36 msf, including 19 msf of ongoing projects, as of June 30, 2025.
