Genus Power reports strong FY25 growth, aims for smart meter expansion

Genus Power Infrastructures Limited experienced a transformative FY 2024-25, with revenue doubling to ₹2,442 crore and profit after tax (PAT) tripling to ₹298 crore. EBITDA also saw a substantial increase of nearly 250% to ₹470 crore. The company's total order book reached over ₹30,000 crore as of March 31, 2025, providing multi-year revenue visibility.

The company's 33rd annual general meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 11:00 am (IST), conducted via video conferencing. Key agenda items include the adoption of audited financial statements for FY 2024-25 and a proposed dividend of ₹2.45 per equity share.

Genus Power also reported significant progress in its strategic initiatives, including the deployment of 91 million smart meters to date and an annual production capacity of 18 million meters. The company aims to expand its smart gas and water metering solutions, targeting 12 crore expected gas connections by 2030 and a 15% share in the Indian economy's gas sector by the same year.
