Barbeque-Nation reappoints Rahul Agrawal as CEO and whole-time director

Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Limited's shareholders have approved the re-appointment of Rahul Agrawal as chief executive officer and whole-time director for a period of five years, commencing December 31, 2025, and concluding on December 30, 2030. This decision was made at the annual general meeting held on September 4, 2025, following recommendations from the nomination and remuneration committee and the board of directors.

Agrawal, who has been with the company since July 2017, has over 20 years of experience in the private equity and consumer industry. During his tenure, he has significantly contributed to the company's growth, expanding its restaurant count from approximately 80 to over 230 currently.

His achievements include international expansion, the acquisition of several restaurant brands like "TOSCANO" and "SALT," the launch of delivery brands such as "UBQ" and "Dum Safar," and successful funding rounds, including a 2021 IPO and preferential issue.
