Alicon Castalloy appoints new CEO designate and HR officer

Alicon Castalloy's board of directors, at its meeting on September 5, 2025, approved the appointment of Sumit Bhatnagar as chief executive officer – designate, effective September 22, 2025. Bhatnagar will succeed Rajeev Sikand, the current chief executive officer, who is scheduled to superannuate on March 31, 2026. Bhatnagar will also assume the role of key managerial personnel.

Additionally, Ashish Srivastava has been appointed as the chief human resource officer, joining the company on September 25, 2025. These appointments are made in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Sumit Bhatnagar, a seasoned professional with over 26 years in the automotive industry, currently serves as group president of ANAND and managing director of ANEVOLVE. He holds a BE in production engineering and a PGDBM in finance and strategy. Rajeev Sikand holds 5,08,638 shares in the company and is not related to any of the other directors.
