SpiceJet partners with Gulf Air to expand global network

SpiceJet, India's favorite airline, has signed an interline agreement with Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Announced on September 4, 2025, this partnership will provide SpiceJet passengers with seamless access to Gulf Air's extensive network across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Central Asia via Bahrain. Gulf Air customers will gain enhanced connectivity to India through SpiceJet's domestic network. Ticket sales under this new agreement are projected to begin by early 2026.

According to ajay singh, chairman and managing director of SpiceJet, the agreement marks a crucial step in expanding the airline's global reach and offering more travel options. The collaboration aims to make travel more convenient, affordable, and accessible for both leisure and business travelers.

Jeffrey goh, chief executive officer of Gulf Air Group, highlighted that the partnership will allow travelers from both airlines to enjoy seamless travel experiences, fostering greater connectivity and cultural exchange between Bahrain and India. This alliance leverages Bahrain's strategic hub position and SpiceJet's extensive domestic network to provide convenient access to a diverse range of destinations.
