SpiceJet appoints Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP as new statutory auditors

SpiceJet Limited announced the outcome of its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on September 4, 2025, confirming the appointment of M/s Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP as the new statutory auditors. This decision was made to fill a casual vacancy resulting from the resignation of the previous auditors, M/s. Walkers Chandiok & Co LLP. The appointment was approved by a requisite majority of shareholders.

The EGM saw strong shareholder participation through remote e-voting and e-voting during the meeting. The resolution for the appointment of M/s Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP (Firm Registration No. 104607W / W100166) received overwhelming support.

Specifically, 392,965,060 votes were cast "for" the resolution, representing 99.7782% of the total valid votes. In contrast, 873,731 votes were cast "against," accounting for 0.2218% of the valid votes. No votes were declared invalid. Chandan Sand, senior vice president (legal) & company secretary, confirmed the outcome, and Mahesh Kumar Gupta of Mahesh Gupta & Co., company secretaries, served as the scrutinizer for the e-voting process.
