SPML Infra announces leadership changes, new managing director

SPML Infra Limited's board of directors has approved the appointment of Abhinandan Sethi as managing director for a five-year term, effective September 3, 2025, pending shareholder approval. Sethi, who is not debarred by SEBI, will lead initiatives in water and power projects, leveraging his background in business administration and project management.

Concurrently, Subhash Chand Sethi’s designation has been changed from chairman and whole time director to non-executive chairman and director, also effective September 3, 2025, and subject to shareholder approval. Subhash Chand Sethi is recognized for his extensive contributions to infrastructure development over four decades. Furthermore, Rajeev Kumar Jain has been appointed as an additional director in the capacity of independent director (non-executive) for a one-year period, effective the same date and pending shareholder approval. Jain brings 33 years of experience from the Indian Information Service.

The board meeting, held on September 3, 2025, commenced at 2:40 PM and concluded at 4:30 PM, formalizing these strategic leadership adjustments. These changes are in accordance with SEBI Regulations, 2015, and the specific circulars dated November 11, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
