Mastek appoints Sourabh Mukherjee as president of Americas

Mastek Inc., an AI-first digital engineering and cloud transformation partner, announced the appointment of Sourabh Mukherjee as president, Americas, effective immediately on September 3, 2025. Mukherjee will report directly to chief executive Umang Nahata. This appointment is expected to bolster Mastek's presence and growth in the Americas market.

Mukherjee brings over two decades of global IT services experience, specializing in sectors such as healthcare & life sciences, manufacturing, and retail, across various geographies including North America, the UK, and Europe. His background includes leadership roles at Cognizant, where he built the health sciences strategic business unit on the US west coast, and at Wipro, where he held delivery, pre-sales, and sales leadership positions across multiple continents.

He holds a BE in computer science and an MBA in marketing & information systems, and has completed programs at Stanford University and MIT. Mastek operates in over 40 countries with nearly 5,000 employees, partnering with industry leaders such as Oracle and Microsoft, and serving key sectors including public sector and financial services.
