Jet Airways appoints new company secretary, acknowledges delayed disclosure

Jet Airways (India) Limited, in liquidation, has appointed Ms. Kirti (Membership No. ACS 76305) as its new company secretary, effective August 18, 2025. The company disclosed this appointment on September 2, 2025, noting that the information was submitted to the stock exchanges on September 1, 2025. This notification followed a delay in dissemination to the stock exchanges within the mandated 12-hour timeframe, which the company attributed to inadvertent oversight. Jet Airways expressed regret for the lapse and assured that measures are in place to ensure future compliance.

Ms. Kirti’s appointment comes with the requisite details submitted as per Regulation 30 of the Listing Regulations and SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015. Ms. Kirti is a commerce graduate from Delhi University and holds an LLB from B.R. Ambedkar University, in addition to being an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

The company confirmed that Ms. Kirti is not related to any of the directors or key managerial personnel (KMP) of Jet Airways and does not hold any shares in the company. The term of her appointment will be as specified in her appointment letter. Sundaram Ramesh, chief financial officer, signed off on the intimation.
