BHEL secures major power project order from MB Power

BHEL has accepted a Letter of Intent (LOI) from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited for the supply of equipment for a 1x800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project. The order includes Boiler, Turbine, and Generator, utilizing supercritical technology. The contract agreement is expected to be finalized shortly, with manufacturing slated for BHEL's Trichy and Haridwar plants.

The domestic order, valued at approximately INR 2600 Cr. excluding GST, involves the supply of equipment and associated auxiliaries, along with control and instrumentation. The supply completion schedule for the project is set for 58 months. BHEL confirmed that this transaction is with a domestic entity, MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited, and does not involve any related party interests.
