Antony Waste Handling Cell to hold 24th AGM after strong growth

Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (AWHCL) will hold its 24th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. (IST) via video conferencing. The Integrated Annual Report 2024-25, along with the AGM notice, is available on the company website and NSDL. The cut-off date for e-voting is September 18, 2025, with remote e-voting commencing on September 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. and concluding on September 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

For the fiscal year 2024-25, AWHCL reported a total income of ₹959 crore and an EBITDA of ₹220 crore. The company achieved a net profit of ₹101 crore, leading to basic earnings per share of ₹8.53. Net cash generated from operating activities was ₹187 crore, and capital employed increased to ₹1,285 crore. These figures demonstrate AWHCL's continued financial stability and operational efficiency.

The company processed approximately 4.93 million metric tonnes of waste and serves over 4.82 million households. Key initiatives include advancements in Waste-to-Energy (WtE) projects, with the PCMC WtE facility generating over 90 million green units. AWHCL continues to emphasize sustainability, with 81% of its energy consumption from renewable sources in FY2025.
