Sunil Kataria takes helm as Godrej Agrovet CEO and MD

Effective September 1, 2025, Sunil Kataria has formally assumed the roles of chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) of Godrej Agrovet Limited for a five-year tenure. This appointment follows his designation as CEO and MD-designate in May 2025. Kataria succeeds Balram Singh Yadav, who ceased his directorship due to superannuation from the company's employment, also effective September 1, 2025.

Kataria brings over two decades of experience in marketing, sales, and leadership from organizations like Marico Limited, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, and Raymond Limited. His mandate at Godrej Agrovet is to steer the company into its next growth phase, focusing on innovation and capability building across emerging business areas.

Nadir Godrej, chairman and managing director, Godrej Industries Limited, expressed confidence that Kataria's leadership would consolidate Godrej Agrovet's market position, scale its businesses, and prioritize profitability. Kataria's agenda includes unlocking value across the portfolio, strengthening go-to-market strategies, and scaling high-potential businesses.
