New India Assurance sets 106th AGM, announces dividend

The New India Assurance Company Limited will hold its 106th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. via video conferencing. The agenda includes the adoption of financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, and a declaration of a final dividend of ₹1.80 per equity share. For FY 2024-25, the company reported a Gross Written Premium of ₹43,618 crore, a 3.86% increase from the previous year. Profit after tax stood at ₹988.07 crore, with a solvency ratio of 1.91x.

The company's performance highlights include servicing more than 30 crore lives and maintaining a presence in 24 countries. Investment income reached ₹8,034 crore. Gross Direct Premium for Indian operations was ₹39655.21 crore, an increase of 4.38% over the previous year. The total number of employees as of March 31, 2025, was 10,951.

The company will also appoint a Secretarial Auditor for FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30. The record date for determining dividend entitlement is September 4, 2025.
