Muthoot Finance strengthens board with director appointments

Muthoot Finance Limited held its 28th annual general meeting on August 30, 2025, where shareholders approved several significant board appointments and re-appointments. Koodathumuriyil Verghese Eapen was appointed as a non-executive independent director, effective October 1, 2025, for a three-year term extending until the 31st annual general meeting in 2028.

Additionally, Chamacheril Abraham Mohan was re-appointed as an independent director for a second consecutive term, commencing from the 28th AGM and concluding at the 33rd annual general meeting in 2030, totaling five years. Alexander George was also re-appointed as a whole-time director for a five-year period, effective September 30, 2025. These strategic moves are set to reinforce the company’s leadership and long-term vision.
