Adani Ports reports strong cargo, logistics growth in august

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) reported a 16% year-over-year (YoY) increase in cargo volume for August 2025, reaching 41.9 MMT. This growth was primarily driven by a robust 29% YoY increase in container volumes. For the cumulative period of YTD August 2025, APSEZ handled a total cargo volume of 202.6 MMT, representing an 11% YoY growth, with containers again leading the expansion at 22% YoY.

The company's logistics segment also demonstrated positive trends. In August 2025, logistics rail volumes grew by 8% YoY to 57,347 TEUs, while GPWIS volume saw a 3% YoY increase, reaching 1.69 MMT.

Similarly, the YTD August 2025 figures for logistics rail volumes stood at 297,766 TEUs, marking a 14% YoY rise. GPWIS volume for the same period increased by 3% YoY to 9.35 MMT, further highlighting the consistent operational improvements across APSEZ's various business verticals.
