SML ISUZU reports mixed sales, overall growth in April-August period

SML ISUZU Limited announced its sales figures for August 2025 and the cumulative April-August period. For August 2025, cargo vehicle sales increased by 6% to 321 units compared to 303 units in August 2024. In contrast, passenger vehicle sales saw a significant decrease of 24%, dropping to 521 units from 687 units in the same month last year. Overall, total vehicle sales for August 2025 stood at 842 units, a 15% decline from 990 units in August 2024.

Looking at the April-August 2025 period, cargo vehicle sales experienced a robust 39% increase, reaching 2052 units compared to 1472 units in the corresponding period of 2024. Passenger vehicle sales, however, showed a marginal growth of 1%, with 5143 units sold this period versus 5100 units previously.

Cumulatively, SML ISUZU's total sales for April-August 2025 reached 7195 units, marking a 9% increase over the 6572 units sold during April-August 2024. The data highlights strong performance in the cargo segment and overall cumulative growth despite a downturn in passenger vehicle sales for August.
