SBI Mutual Fund increases stake in Thermax, crosses disclosure threshold

SBI Mutual Fund, through its various schemes, has acquired an additional 0.9114% of the paid-up share capital of Thermax Ltd. as of August 26, 2025. This acquisition involved the purchase of 1,085,943 shares.

This transaction brings SBI Mutual Fund's total holding in Thermax to 7.5979% of the company's paid-up share capital, amounting to 90,53,369 shares. The disclosure was made under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, following a 2% increase from the previous disclosure made on July 23, 2024.

The acquisition was executed via a market purchase, increasing SBI Mutual Fund's stake from a previous 6.6865%. The equity share capital of Thermax remains Rs 23,83,12,600, consisting of 11,91,56,300 equity shares with a face value of Rs 2/- each.
