Punjab National Bank announces senior management reshuffle, new CFO appointed

Punjab National Bank has appointed Raman Grover as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2025. Grover, previously the general manager of finance division, head office, holds a bachelor of arts (economics) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and brings over 26 years of experience to the role.

This appointment follows the superannuation of Dilip Kumar Jain, who vacated the position of CFO and chief general manager, finance division, head office, on August 31, 2025. Sameer Bajpai, chief general manager, data privacy and management division, head office, also retired on the same date.

The bank also announced changes in designation due to elevation for three other senior managers. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava, previously zonal manager-general manager, zonal office, Mumbai, has been promoted to zonal manager-chief general manager, zonal office, Mumbai. Sumesh Kumar, formerly general manager, HO HRD, is now chief general manager, HO HRD. Additionally, Deepak Kumar, who was deputy general manager, HO corporate communication division, has been elevated to general manager, HO corporate communication division. These changes are effective from September 1, 2025.
