NMDC sees robust iron ore production, sales growth in August

NMDC Limited has released its provisional production and sales figures for iron ore up to August 2025, showing robust performance. In August 2025, the company's total iron ore production reached 3.37 million tonnes (MT), a notable increase from 3.07 MT in August 2024. Total sales for August 2025 also saw a rise to 3.39 MT, up from 3.14 MT in the previous year.

Cumulatively for FY 2025-26, up to August 2025, NMDC recorded a total production of 18.45 MT, significantly higher than the 14.43 MT reported for the same period in the prior fiscal year. Total cumulative sales also grew to 18.37 MT, compared to 16.27 MT up to August 2024.

Chhattisgarh contributed 2.21 MT to August 2025 production and 12.29 MT cumulatively, while Karnataka added 1.16 MT for the month and 6.16 MT cumulatively. These figures highlight NMDC's strong operational performance in the current financial year.
