Maruti Suzuki announces August sales, production, and AGM results

Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 180,683 units in August 2025, comprising domestic sales of 134,050 units, sales to other OEMs of 10,095 units, and exports of 36,538 units. The company's total domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 131,278 units for the month. Production volume for August 2025 totaled 158,202 units, including 155,238 passenger vehicles and 2,964 light commercial vehicles.

In a separate announcement, the company confirmed the successful conduct of its 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 28, 2025, where all eleven proposed resolutions, including ten ordinary and one special resolution, were passed with the requisite majority.

Key resolutions passed included the adoption of financial statements, dividend declaration, re-appointment of directors, and the appointment of Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP as statutory auditors. RMG & Associates were appointed as secretarial auditors and their remuneration fixed.
