KPI Green Energy: New Tech Elevates O&M Portfolio Expansion

KPI Green Energy Limited (KP Group) reports a substantial expansion and technological upgrade in its renewable energy O&M verticals. The company's installed capacity now exceeds 1.9 GW across solar, wind, and hybrid assets nationwide, with an additional ~4 GW of renewable assets under execution to be integrated into its O&M services. This expansion underpins the company's strategy to maximize asset performance and ensure resilient, long-term cash flows.

The company has implemented advanced technological solutions, including a centralized Network Operations Center (NOC) for real-time monitoring and diagnostics of its solar and wind assets. This NOC, powered by IBM Maximo Renewables, provides AI-driven analytics, automated reporting, and real-time alerts. Furthermore, KP Group has developed an in-house Unified Data Access (UDA) platform for large-scale data management.

In innovation, KP Group's R&D Centre has developed robotic solar panel cleaning solutions, with over 730 robots deployed across operating sites and more than 1,000 in the production pipeline. These IoT-powered robots achieve ~98% cleaning efficiency, dry-cleaning 1 MW in under 3 hours, reducing water consumption. A new manufacturing facility at Por will scale production from 100 to 300 robots per month to meet growing demand.
