Fortis Healthcare expands Delhi-NCR presence with new Greater Noida hospital lease

Fortis Healthcare Limited's Composite Scheme of Arrangement, involving International Hospital Limited, Fortis Hospitals Limited, and Fortis Hospotel Limited, became effective on September 1, 2025. This followed the filing of a certified copy of the National Company Law Tribunal order with the Registrar of Companies.

In a related development, Fortis Healthcare’s wholly-owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited (IHL), entered into a 15-year lease agreement with RR Lifesciences Limited for a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida. This facility, previously managed by Fortis since October 2022, will now operate as Fortis Hospital Greater Noida, adding to Fortis' Delhi-NCR network and growing it to approximately 2,000 beds. The hospital has the potential to expand to 250 beds.

This expansion enhances Fortis' operational and financial control over the hospital, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery in the NCR, a region experiencing rapid urbanization and increased patient demand.
