Dixon Technologies: mixed environmental performance in latest sustainability report

Dixon Technologies reported a substantial increase in total energy consumption, reaching 173.78 TJ in FY2024-25, up from 118.68 TJ in FY2023-24, with renewable sources contributing 17.05 TJ. Water withdrawal totaled 71,750.39 kiloliters, a significant decrease from 309,223 kiloliters in the prior year, demonstrating improved water management. Waste generation also saw a notable rise, with total waste at 960.57 metric tonnes compared to 136.355 metric tonnes last year.

The company's social initiatives show a strong commitment to its workforce, with 66% of employees receiving health and safety training and 37% undergoing skill-upgradation training. Permanent employee headcount stood at 1,441. The median remuneration for the board of directors was INR 2,15,00,000, while key managerial personnel received INR 2,93,79,320. There were two reported sexual harassment complaints, with two upheld, and all wages met minimum wage requirements.
