Bharat Electronics secures new orders, announces leadership changes

Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has secured additional orders worth INR 644 crore since the last disclosure on July 30, 2025. Major orders received include Data Centre, Ship Fire Control System, Tank Navigation System, Communication Equipment, Seekers, Jammers, Simulators, Electronic Voting Machines, Upgrades, Spares, and Services.

BEL also disclosed changes in its senior management, effective September 1, 2025. Chinnappa Rajappa Patil has been appointed as chief scientist (CRL-BG), while Ramesh Mangipudi will serve as chief technical officer (COMMUNICATIONS).

Further appointments include Venkataramanan S as general manager (ADSN/BG), Ruchi Pant as general manager (TP/CO), Rakesh Kumar as general manager (SOFTWARE/BG), Sangeeta Srivastava as general manager (MILCOM/BG), Dhirendra N Pandey as general manager (MACHILIPATNAM), and Kumaran P T as general manager (COMPONENTS/BG). These changes reflect a strategic realignment in the company's leadership structure.
