Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel partner with Queensland Tourism

Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its group company, SOTC Travel, have executed a long-term, multi-pronged MOU with Tourism and Events Queensland on August 31, 2025. This collaboration aims to boost Queensland’s visibility and inspire year-round visitation from the high-potential Indian market. The MOU, signed by senior leadership from Thomas Cook (India) Limited and SOTC Travel with Katie Mills, international director at Tourism and Events Queensland, was witnessed by Hon David Crisafulli MP, premier of Queensland.

The strategic partnership will concentrate on content creation, education and training initiatives, and joint marketing efforts. Leveraging Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel's extensive pan-India retail network and digital platforms, the initiative seeks to position Queensland as a premier destination for leisure, MICE, B-leisure, and sports tourism across India’s metro, mini-metro, and tier 2 and 3 markets. Queensland offers diverse experiences, from UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Great Barrier Reef to the upcoming 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

This collaboration is set to expand Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel's product portfolios by creating innovative, experience-led itineraries. It targets various traveler segments, including multi-generational families, millennials, GenZ, couples, working professionals, and MICE corporates, ensuring truly memorable and repeat visitations.
