Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals appoints four independent directors

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GSFC) has announced the re-appointment of two independent directors and the appointment of two new independent directors to its board, effective September 2, 2025. The decisions were made via a circular resolution dated August 31, 2025, following recommendations from the nomination and remuneration committee and are subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 63rd Annual General Meeting.

Gauri Kumar, IAS (Retd.), and Dr. Sudhir Kumar Jain have both been re-appointed for second terms of five consecutive years. Additionally, Dr. Rama Shanker Dubey and Prof. Sundaravalli Narayanaswami have been appointed as independent directors, each for a term of five consecutive years from September 2, 2025.

The company affirmed that none of the re-appointed or newly appointed directors are debarred from holding office by any SEBI order or other authority.
