Welspun Specialty Solutions gets final operations halt revocation

Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited informed the BSE on August 30, 2025, that it has received a communication from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) dated August 29, 2025. This communication confirms the final revocation of earlier directions to cease operations at its plant in GIDC Jhagadia, Dist. Bharuch, Gujarat. This follows a prior intimation on June 20, 2024, regarding the initial directive to halt operations.

The company had previously submitted an intimation on July 4, 2024, detailing a temporary revocation of the cessation directive for three months. This latest communication signifies a permanent lifting of the operational restrictions. Welspun Specialty Solutions stated its commitment to environmental compliance with the utmost seriousness.

The company requested that the information be taken on record by the Listing Department of BSE Limited. Suhas Pawar, company secretary & compliance officer, signed the communication on behalf of Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited.
