RITES releases FY25 business responsibility and sustainability report

RITES Limited announced its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year 2024-25, highlighting its continued commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices. For FY25, the company reported a turnover of ₹2095.31 Crores and a net worth of ₹2533.30 Crores. The core business activities contributing to turnover include consultancy (54.07%), turnkey projects (38.02%), leasing (7.17%), and exports (0.74%). The total number of employees stands at 2714, with 228 female employees, representing 8.40% of the total workforce.

The company's total energy consumption for FY25 was 16398.90 GJ, with renewable sources contributing 140.00 GJ. Total water withdrawal and consumption were 22,527.00 kilolitres each, resulting in a water intensity of 10.75 KI/₹ Cr. Greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) totaled 2845.26 metric tonnes of CO₂ equivalent, with an intensity of 1.36 MT/₹ Cr.

RITES also noted that 29.61% of its input material was directly sourced from MSMEs and small producers, and 100% of inputs for project activities were sourced sustainably. The average customer satisfaction index for FY25 was 97%.
